What is Bluesign?

It is one of the standards that help the textile industry move towards its sustainability goals. It was a company that established in 2000 in Switzerland and a shareholder of international testing firm SGS in 2008. The Bluesign standard includes a holistic approach to chemical suppliers, including textile producers and major brands and retailers

What is the difference from other standards?

Unlike other standards, Bluesign includes besides everything from consumer safety to environmental and resource efficiency, new product synthesis, life cycle. This standard has recognized that achieving more with fewer resources is a key to sustainability.
